A Brief History of NHI Drive Pulleys
New Hampshire Industries started producing drives in the late 1980's using a brazed construction with stamped halves and a powder metal hub. In 1990 we added the capability of manufacturing split-formed drive pulleys and assemblies and introduced this manufacturing method for pulleys to the Outdoor Power Equipment marketplace. In the mid-1990's we stared manufacturing fully machined drive pulleys in diameters under 2", and have recently increased our capbility by purchasing a machine that runs up to Ш4" bar stock.
We have now expanded the range of applications beyond the OPE marketplace. Today NHI drive pulleys are used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications including air compressors, air handling units, automotive lifts, clutch assemblies, gate openers, garage door openers, and physical fitness equipment . Recognizing the diversity of our customers' needs, NHI continues to develop new pulleys manufactured by the various technologies. This design base of pulleys, combined with a capability to manufacture hubs that weld in place allows us to manufacture configurations for V-belt, flat belt and round belt/cable. Applications are limited only by your imagination.
Contact NHI (solutions@nhipulleys.com or (800) 654-1090) to find out how we can manufacture the drive pulleys that you need. For timing belt drive (and idler) pulleys you can contact another NHI company - H. Neuman & Company (www.hneuman.com) direct, or let NHI in Lebanon coordinate their efforts with ours. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
